Cr3 series materials are based on traditional Cr2 cold rolling roll materials, with the Cr content increased to about 3%. Due to the increase in alloying elements, the hardenability of the rolls is improved, and the hardened layer can reach more than 25mm, with a maximum depth of 30mm.
