Cold Rolling Mill Rolls
The Cr5 series is a super-deep hardened layer cold rolling roll material with a Cr content of about 5%. The hardened layer depth can reach more than 45mm. Through the scientific matching of chemical components and reasonable production processes, compared with the traditional Cr2 material and deep-hardened Cr3 material, it has excellent technical characteristics and is the preferred material for current cold continuous rolling mills.

Material Characteristics
High Cr content, and the carbide type changes from M3C of Cr2 and Cr3 materials to M7C3, which improves the wear resistance of the roll;
The carbides are more refined and dispersed, with a deep hardened layer and improved fracture resistance;
It can ensure that the roll is used up to the scrap diameter without re-hardening.
Application Scope
Suitable for work rolls, intermediate rolls, backup rolls and leveling rolls of various specifications of cold rolling mills, as well as rolls for foil rolling mills and non-ferrous metal rolling mills such as copper and aluminum.
