Cold Rolling Mill Rolls
Cr3 series material is developed on the basis of the traditional Cr2 cold rolling roll material, with the Cr content increased to about 3%. The increase in alloying elements improves the hardenability of the roll. The hardened layer depth can reach more than 25mm, with a maximum depth of 30mm. The Cr3 series is a cold rolling roll material that has been widely promoted and applied in recent years.

Material Characteristics
The alloy content is increased, and the wear resistance is improved by about 30% compared with the Cr2 series;
The hardened layer is deep, so the roll generally does not need re-hardening;
In case of rolling accidents, deep spalling is easy to occur.
Application Scope
Suitable for work rolls, intermediate rolls, backup rolls of various specifications of cold rolling mills, rolls for foil rolling mills, and rolls for non-ferrous metal rolling mills such as copper and aluminum.
